    album_20051222020745_0

a very very powerful album by shane and shane, then again, their music and words are always powerful.   when i first played that CD, my hands automatically played songs that i was familar with.. such as the answer, yearn, psalm 13. but the song touched my heart was Chapter One

    stir my affection
    stir my affection
    stir my affection for You
    for You're my only hope

    You Yeshua
    explained the way He moves
    as just an ordinary man
then again, You're the first, Jesus
and by Your hand we move
You're the image of the invisible God
You are God, You are God

    bring fascination
    bring fascination
    bring fascination of You
    for You're my only hope

Jesus Christ made this whole christian thing really personal and comfortable. God, who revealed Himself to moses, or abraham, or isaac, or jacob, was the GOD who created the universe. The God i feel like i should never can be close to. but the Father sent His only son, Jesus, where the Father himself can be just like us, just an ordinary man, but again, Yeshua is the image of the invisible God, and He is God!

No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made Him known        -John 1:18

  • Wilderness part I

    comfort-zone..
familar surroundings, routined life, previous experiences, opulent bank account, a high speed internet, constant textings, 2500+ songs in iPod, and a nostaligic status.

The Lord sends us to the wilderness when He wants to speak to us. or He meets us in the middle of the wilderness.

that's because we turn our eyes to things other than God and we rely on them in our comfortzone.

wilderness isn't that bad after all

  • God of Justice, Unity, and UEFA Championship?!?

      As all of  y'all knew..
today was the championship match between Manchester United and Chelsea
it was an epic battle.. two greatest teams in the history of soccer
must say. i was disappointed that J.S. Park didn't get to play

but because of that, God has opened up my heart to the other things during the match

    God of Justice

something great about sports is that if you cheat or play dirty, you lose.
you might win that certain match or that certain set or that certain moment, but at the end you lose.
probably because I am a Manchester fan, but the chelsea players were dirty...

    32

tackling high, throwing punches, unsportsmanship plays..
and the fact that threw me off the most is when they show no respect to the refree.
(that is why rugby is far more superior than soccer, or should i say football  )

    Psalm 145:19-20
[19] He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.
[20] The Lord watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy

the world today offers countless things that make us cheat before the Lord.
laziness, high tech gadgets, internet, tvs, movies, music, and so on.

and there are those who cheats to you. people who close to you cheat you and use you and what not.
you feel discouraged when those things happen.

but, hey! look what happened to the Manchester United when they brought clean fights! they became the best club soccer team in the world.
and now.. imagine what would God will reward us when we keep our head up and bring clean fights. so much more than a page. definately something better than big ole trophy that JS Park holds
don't worry. when we are broken hearted or crushed in the spirits, HE hears us. and the LORD watches over us.

    and...Unity
I remember what Josh told the band members from the last year's global day of prayer...
unity is something that's really hard to acheive. but once the unity presents in presence of the spirit,
the force, effectiveness, power, on-going, and love that come out of that group is unfathomable..

    like.. them!SK10201_20080522_051901 ep1_080522h55053

whenever i work with our praise team, i, sometimes felt lack of unity among our team members..

    Romans 15:5-6
"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

I am a firm believer who believes there are no hearts that the Spirit can't change. notice how the Words said that the God gave us endurance and encouragment. i might feel discouraged but it's something i can endure. i'll just have pray for my beloved sisters and brothers

    love, isaac
